Wanted to make a post about my winter basic pieces, was just waiting for the weather to get a little bit colder. The most important basic piece in winter is a coat, for me it has to be black, not only because is more versatile but also because i can't live without black, a good quality leather one is the perfect one for me, with a good length and a warm kind of lining, this one is so gorgeous is from a portuguese designer and although it's vintage it's completely new, another basic is a pair of jeans, i love black or very dark denim ones like this pair from Asos, the boots can't miss in this cold weather and docs are for sure my choice everytime, when it comes to tops i got to have a nice chunky cable knit black jumper, because it is very warm very versatile and kind of casual, of course i have to make it more interesting with a shirt and a black and white plaid shirt i my must for every season, this one is from Young Hungry Free. Also i like to have a big bag with me to carry my laptop or my books to go to classes. To finish the look i had a wide brim hat, always good when it's slightly raining you can really skip the umbrella or a warm beanie.
Hi! So much red! Red is not a color that i use a lot, i have only another piece in red and it's a tartan skirt (because it's a classic) but when i saw this Motel Rocks jumpsuit i fell in love, it's so cute, and it is a nice light change from all the dresses a have and much more comfortable and safer in windy days. I love to mix chunky knits to light fabrics like this so i combined it with my chunky over the knee socks from Tabbisocks, this time i add a black blazer but would love just as much if i changed the blazer for a chunky cable knit black or navy cardigan, would have been more casual and cozy, but i was looking for a more preppy look this time. Love to mix different yet similar plaids, something of it reminds me of Andre 3000 i always loved his style, since i had 13 years old. In this case the shape of the plaids are completely different, the shirt has a "normal" plaid and it's from Levi's i have it forever really, the jacket has a pied de poule kind of plaid but the autumn colors of both kinda match. To make this both pieces the key of the look everything else is black, the jeans, the hat, the shoes and the ribbon. The only brown thing i added was this amazing watch from August brand, it's so simple, white with pink gold and a brown armlet, i'm totally in love with it. The clubmaster Ray-bans are from my boyfriend. Hope you like this look.
